Turkey Kofta with Tzatziki Sauce(204 Cal)





Kofta is a family of meatball or meatloaf dishes. I use tzatziki and za'atar spice to make the dish more levantine.


Nutrition fact(per serving):

204 calorie, 25 gram protein, 8 gram fat(2g saturated), 8 gram carb(1g fiber)


Ingredients: (2 servings)

1/2 pound ground lean turkey

1/4 onion

za'atar seasoning

1 mini cucumber

1/4 cup non fat plain Greak yogurt

1 tbsp rolled oat

garlic

oregano

dill

lemon juice




Instruction:


1. Mince the onion. Mix onion, ground turkey, garlic, oregano and roll oat, until the mixture becomes smooth( about 5 min)



2. Put the mixture into a loaf pan, make the surface flat.



3. Oven 325 degree Fahrenheit, bake for 40 min


4. Cut the cucumber into small slices. Mix in yogurt, dill and lemon juice.



5. After the meat loaf is fully baked, cut it into 0.5 inch X 0.5 inch cubes. Spread one half with yogurt sauce and the other half with za'atar spices.



6. Arrange the meatloaf cubes into patterns you like on the plate. Tadah... that's it!
