Healthy Okonomiyaki お好み焼き




35g carb 6g fat 22g protein( 1 serving)


Ingredients: (2 servings)


40 gram okonomiyaki flour

1/2 cup water

1 egg

1/2 cup grated yam

1/4 head cabbage

3 oz cooked octopus

3 oz thin pork slice


2 oz Worcestershire sauce

handful bonito flakes

handful dry seaweed

2 oz low fat mayonnaise


Instruction:

1. Mix okonomiyaki flour, water, egg, grated yam well, refrigerate the mixture while cutting the octopus into 0.3inch cubes and shredded the cabbage

2. Cut pork slices into thin stripes, lie the stripes in parallel on a round non stick pan

3. Mix in the octopus and cabbage in the mixture from step one, when the pork slices are halfway cooked, and pour the mixture into the non sticky pan. 1 inch is usually the best thickness

4. Cook using mid fire for 3 min, flip the okonomiyaki upside down into another pan, cook for another 3 min

5. Cover the pan, cook for another 2 min

6. Transfer the okonomiyaki into plate, spread Worcestershire sauce evenly on top, then bonito flakes, dry seaweed and lastly mayonnaise
